Guardians of the Galaxy favourite Baby Groot will appear in a series of short films for Disney+.
The new series, I Am Groot, was one of multiple new Marvel projects announced as part of Disney's investor day on Thursday.
A Disney tweet said: "Everyone's favorite little tree, Baby Groot, will star in a series of shorts on @DisneyPlus featuring several new and unusual characters. I Am Groot, an Original Series from @MarvelStudios, is coming to #DisneyPlus."
The streaming service has also announced The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special from James Gunn, due for release at Christmas 2022.
The special will precede the third standalone Guardians of the Galaxy movie, due to be filmed next year ahead of a planned release in 2023.
