Nile Wilson - Olympic bronze-winning gymnast for Team GB - joins the lineup for Dancing On Ice 2023.

Former Team GB gymnast Nile Wilson has been announced as the fourth celebrity in the lineup for Dancing On Ice 2023.

The 26-year-old, who retired last year due to injury, won bronze at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and also boasts five gold medals, three silvers and a bronze from the Commonwealth Games.

Wilson joins the likes of ex-footballer John Fashanu, EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu on the ITV competition, which returns for a new series in January.

Revealing the news on his YouTube channel, he said: "I'm going to be on ITV's Dancing on Ice! This is a really cool thing.

"I've certainly not done much ice-skating but I am so excited for the opportunity. I'm so excited to get into that routine and to feel like an athlete again."

Wilson also vowed to up the ante with the competition, telling his followers: "My biggest goal on the show is to do something that no-one has ever done before!"

The remaining celebrities in the lineup are due to be revealed in the coming days.
