Great Britain's Jack Laugher and Chris Mears reach the men's 3m springboard synchro final at the Diving World Cup in Rio.

Great Britain's Jack Laugher and Chris Mears have received a spot in the final of the men's 3m springboard synchro at the Diving World Cup in Rio.

The pair, who won bronze at the World Championships in Kazan last year, scored 408.51 points in the preliminary round in Brazil.

Overall, the British duo finished third, behind Chinese duo Cao Yuan and Qin Kai and second-placed Jahir Ocampo and Rommel Pacheco of Mexico.

The final will be held later this evening.
