Result: Rebecca Gallantree misses out on 3m medal in Kazan

Great Britain's Rebecca Gallantree fails to secure a medal in the women's 3m springboard final at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan.

Great Britain's Rebecca Gallantree has missed out on a medal in the women's 3m springboard final at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan.

The 30-year-old finished in 10th place as China and Italy claimed the medals between them.

Tingmao Shi took gold, while her fellow Chinese Zi He secured the silver. Tania Cagnotto of Italy completed the podium.

Despite failing to medal on this occasion, Gallantree and teammate Tom Daley won gold in the mixed team event on Wednesday.

· Reigning two-time Olympic champion Andy Murray starts his title defence against Canadian hotshot Felix Auger-Aliassime (7am approx.)
