Great Britain name a 12-person table tennis squad, including world number ones Will Bayley and Rob Davies, for the Paralympic Games in Rio.

Great Britain has named a 12-person strong table tennis team for this year's Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The squad includes current world number ones Will Bayley and Rob Davies as well as current Paralympic bronze medallists Paul Davies, Sara Head, Jane Campbell, Aaron McKibbin and Ross Wilson.

"It was London that definitely inspired me and I've improved so much since then," said Davies, the world number one in men's class one.

"Before London (2012) I was an outside chance but in Brazil I will go in as one of the favourites. Like every athlete I want the gold medal but the competition will be really tough."

The lineup is completed by Sue Gilroy MBE, Paul Karabardak, David Wetherill, Kim Daybell and Jack Hunter-Spivey.
