Glen Durrant and Wesley Harms book their places in the Lakeside quarter-finals with victories on Wednesday afternoon.

Top seed Glen Durrant has moved through to the quarter-finals of the BDO World Championship with a comfortable 4-0 win over Larry Butler.

Durrant, a semi-finalist at Lakeside last year, won the first eight legs against his American opponent, and although Butler eventually got on the board, he was unable to pose any threat to the North-East thrower.

Wesley Harms has also progressed into the last eight after he came from behind to seal a 4-3 victory against Jim Williams.

Williams looked favourite after opening leads of 2-1 and 3-2, but Harms's greater big-match experience told in the closing stages as he reached the quarter-finals of the tournament for the third time in his career.
