Ahmed Shehzad is one of four players to have been dropped by Pakistan for next month's ICC Twenty20 World Cup.

Ahmed Shehzad has not made the Pakistan squad for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Cup.

The opening batsman has been dropped following a run of form in the recent three-match T20 series against New Zealand that saw him score just 33 runs.

Along with 24-year-old Shehzad, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Gul and Mohammad Rizwan have also failed to make the cut.

Khurram Manzoor, Rumman Raees, Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Irfan have come into the 15-man selection at the expense of the quartet.

Pakistan will begin their group campaign against a qualifying nation on March 16.
