Yorkshire have announced that Jason Gillespie will vacate his position as head coach when the season comes to an end.
The 41-year-old Australian took over the county club in November 2011, and went on to guide the team to promotion from the second division and back-to-back Championship titles.
During his spell, the team have suffered just five defeats in 76 fixtures in the top flight, but Gillespie's era will come to an end next month as he intends to return to his homeland.
A statement from Yorkshire read: "[Gillespie's] wife Anna and their four children have recently returned to Australia and, with the 41-year-old's existing commitments to coaching the Adelaide Strikers in Australia's Big Bash, Jason feels the close season is an appropriate time to part company."
The club state that they would like to "place on record its thanks to Jason" and confirm that director of cricket Martyn Moxon will not look for a replacement until the end of the season.
