England batsman Ben Duckett has been dropped from the Lions squad after an incident at a Perth bar on Thursday.

The 23-year-old was socialising with some of England's Ashes squad when the incident, in which no members of the public were involved, took place.

The left-hander has since been dropped and will now be ineligible for the Lions' game against a Cricket Australia XI, which he was due to play in.

Duckett, who has recorded an average run rate of 15.71 in four Tests for the side, will have to wait for his fifth Lions appearance.

The incident is the second to have raised concerns among the England camp, after Jonny Bairstow was accused of headbutting Australia batsman Cameron Bancroft at the beginning of the tour.

England are 2-0 down in The Ashes, with the third Test to begin on Thursday.
