India move into a 292-run lead on day two of the third Test at Trent Bridge, with England suffering a batting collapse.

India have gained complete control of the third Test at Trent Bridge following an England batting collapse on day two.

The hosts were bowled out for just 161, with all 10 wickets falling between lunch and tea and nine of those coming in the space of 74 runs and 20.5 overs.

Jos Buttler (39) was the only England batsman to pass the 30-run mark, with India all-rounder Hardik Pandya ending with figures of 5-28 from only six overs.

Shikhar Dhawan (44) and KL Rahul (36) then extended India's lead with the bat, leaving the tourists 292 runs in front.

Ben Stokes took one of the two wickets upon his return to the England team, and Cheteshwar Pujara (33*) and Virat Kohli (8*) will begin proceeds at the crease on day three.

England lead the series 2-0, and would seal victory in the five-match showdown if they are able to turn this match around.
