England all-rounder Ben Stokes has hit a maiden one-day international century against Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The 25-year-old led the attack after James Vince (16), Jason Roy (41) and Jonny Bairstow (0) were dismissed inside the first 13 overs.

Stokes's previous best ODI score was 75, which he hit against Pakistan in September, but he improved on that on Friday when he pulled up his hundred off 98 balls with a drive through midwicket.

England's other big hitters Alex Hales, Eoin Morgan and Joe Root were not competing in the match.

Ben Duckett of Northants sweeps the ball for four runs during the NatWest T20 Blast match between Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Leicestershire Foxes at The County Ground on July 12, 2015
