Batsman Ben Duckett and bowler Jake Ball will make their one-day international debuts for England in today's opening clash against Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The team are without a number of big hitters, including Alex Hales and captain Eoin Morgan - both of whom withdrew from the tour due to security fears.

Joe Root is also being rested, which gives Duckett and his fellow batsmen the chance to step forward and impress on the international stage.

Today's match also marks Jos Buttler's first ODI as stand-in skipper.

England won the toss and elected to bat first.
