Stuart Broad has been added to England's one-day squad for the upcoming series against South Africa.

The bowler, who took six second-innings wickets against the Proteas in last week's third Test, will replace Liam Plunkett after the seamer was deemed unfit to play.

Plunkett was initially selected to replace injured Stuart Finn for the ODI series, but a thigh problem has prevented him from travelling.

Now the ECB has announced that Broad will take the position, but Plunkett will join the Twenty20 squad for the two-match series against South Africa providing he recovers from injury.

The 30-year-old will remain with the England Lions for the rest of their series against Pakistan A in Dubai.
