Result: David Florence, Richard Hounslow take bronze at Canoe Slalom World Cup

British duo David Florence and Richard Hounslow win bronze in the men's canoe double at the Slalom World Cup.

Britain's David Florence and Richard Hounslow have claimed bronze in the men's canoe double at the Slalom World Cup in Spain.

The duo finished behind French pair Gauthier Klauss and Matthieu Peche to earn their first podium finish of the season.

"Getting a medal is a good boost going into the Worlds," Hounslow is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"It was a solid performance today so we've got to be happy with that."

Florence and Hounslow won silver in the canoe slalom C2 event at the London Olympics.
