World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury suggests that an announcement regarding his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko is not imminent.

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has said that he does not know when he will return to the ring for his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury had initially been expected to face Klitschko in the spring, but negotiations have dragged on and with the British fighter still not in full training, it appears that the second contest will not take place until June at the earliest.

The 27-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I have no idea when the next fight is, who it is going to be, no idea so that is a bit of an update for everybody."

"I don't know who it is going to be, to be honest. I have no confirmation on if it is going to be Klitschko, Fred Flintstone or Batman, I have no idea."

In November, Fury caused one of the biggest boxing upsets in recent memory as he claimed the IBF, WBA and WBO belts off the long-reigning champion.
