Result: Magomedrasul Medzhidov crushes Meji Mwanba

Azerbaijan's Magomedrasul Medzhidov stops Meji Mwanba of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the second round of their super heavyweight scrap.

Azerbaijan's Magomedrasul Medzhidov has blasted his way through to the next round of the super heavyweight tournament by stopping Meji Mwanba of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Azeri forced a count with a thunderous right hand, before landing with three more bombs in a very one-sided opening round.

Medzhidov continued to fire at will in the second, winding up with heavy rights time and time again.

Mwanba was put out of his misery with a minute remaining in the second round when the referee waved the fight off.
