Result: Cindy Ofili edged out for medal in women's 100m hurdles final

Great Britain's Cindy Ofili finishes in fourth place as USA's Brianna Rollins claims gold in the women's 100m hurdles final.

USA's Brianna Rollins has won gold in the women's 100m hurdles final as Great Britain's Cindy Ofili misses out on a medal by two hundredths of a second.

Rollins backed up her tag as favourite to win in a time of 12.48s and she will be joined on the podium by her teammates Nia Ali and Kristi Castlin who won silver and bronze respectively.

However, there was disappointment for Ofili who was edged out into fourth place by a narrow margin as the 22-year-old registered a season's best of 12.63s.

Tiffany Porter - the elder sister of Ofili - recorded a time of 12.78s to finish in seventh position.
