Great Britain pair Laura Weightman and Laura Muir have qualified for the women's 1500m final at the Olympic Games.
Weightman only made it through to the semi-finals as a fastest loser but despite struggling down the final straight, she defied a nasty cut down her shin to make it over the line in fifth place.
Muir enjoyed a much easier time in the second semi-final after keeping pace with Genzebe Dibaba and Sifan Hassan, and she was able to ease down during the final 50 minutes as she comfortably claimed third position.
The final is scheduled to take place on Tuesday night.
