Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-HIll, Greg Rutherford named in Team GB athletics squad

Team GB announce an 80-strong athletics squad for the Rio Olympics, headed by 'Super Saturday' trio Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford.

The likes of Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford have been included in Team GB's athletics squad for this summer's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The trio all memorably won gold on 'Super Saturday' at London 2012, and will look to defend their titles as part of Great Britain's 80-strong athletics squad.

Farah will look to make it a 'double double' in the 5,000m and 10,000m events, while Ennis-Hill and Rutherford will both be looking for their second Olympic gold medals in the heptathlon and long jump respectively.

Newly-crowned European 200m champion Dina Asher-Smith heads a group of sprinters that also includes the likes of Adam Gemili, Asha Philip and Jodie Williams, while Christine Ohuruogu will compete in her third Games having won 400m gold in Beijing and silver in London.

High jumper Robbie Grabarz also returns having medalled four years ago, while 42-year-old 10,000m runner Jo Pavey will look to claim her first Olympic medal at her fifth Games.
