San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke is adamant that his side do not need to pick a wide receiver in the 2015 Draft despite departures at the position.

San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke has insisted that his side will not be pressured into selecting a wide receiver in the 2015 Draft.

The 49ers added Torrey Smith and Jerome Simpson to their receiving corps to offset the departures of Michael Crabtree, Stevie Johnson and Brandon Lloyd.

Baalke is adamant that his side do not have to pick another wideout in the Draft to strengthen their receiving options ahead of the 2015 campaign.

"Now, is that to say we're not going to make a pick, look for another wide receiver?" Baalke told reporters.

"I'm not saying that at all. But [I] don't feel like we have to be pressured into making a decision like that."

The 49ers hold the 15th selection in the Draft that begins on Thursday in Chicago.
