Result: Last-second Jason Myers field goal hands Jacksonville Jaguars miraculous win

The Jacksonville Jaguars defeat the Baltimore Ravens 22-20 courtesy of a last-second field goal from Jason Myers in their NFL clash at M&T Bank Stadium.

Jason Myers kicked a field goal with no time left on the clock to hand the Jacksonville Jaguars a 22-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium this evening.

It took until the closing two minutes of the first quarter for the deadlock to be broken in the match and the Jaguars were the team to find the endzone as Blake Bortles drilled the ball to Allen Hurns for a five-yard score, his seventh in as many matches.

The Ravens rallied to level the scores after Lardarius Webb picked off Bortles to allow Joe Flacco good field position. The quarterback delivered as he found Crockett Gillmore in the endzone for an 11-yard touchdown.

Myers put a 21-yard field goal through the posts to restore the Jaguars' advantage, but Flacco struck again before the break as he lofted the ball over the Jacksonville defense to find Maxx Williams to put the Ravens four points ahead at half time.

The Jaguars pulled within a point when Myers kicked a 45-yard field goal in the third quarter as Flacco committed two interceptions to bring the visitors back into the match, while Jeremy Ross also fumbled a punt for the home side.

Myers missed a 21-yarder after Bortles failed to guide his team into the endzone, but the quarterback delivered at the start of the fourth quarter when he picked out Allen Robinson for a 15-yard touchdown to give the Jaguars the lead.

The Ravens jolted back into life on offense and Flacco threw his third touchdown pass when he drilled the ball into the chest of Chris Givens, who made a turn on the one-yard line to register the 14-yard score.

Jacksonville were handed the chance to kick a game-winning field goal after Elvis Dumervil grabbed the face mask of Bortles on the final play of regulation, but the penalty extended the game.

Myers held his nerve from 53 yards to send his effort through the posts and hand his team the victory.

As a result, the Jaguars move to 3-6 in their season, while the Ravens drop to 2-7.
