Half-Time Report: Randall Cobb touchdown gives Green Bay Packers lead

Randall Cobb scores a touchdown just before half time to help the Green Bay Packers to a 16-6 lead over the Minnesota Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers have headed into half time with a 16-6 lead over the Minnesota Vikings following a closely-fought first half between the two NFC North sides.

The visitors had the ball first, but were unable to find the endzone on their first possession, leaving Mason Crosby to open the scoring with a field goal.

There were no such problems for the Vikings as Teddy Bridgewater picked out tight end Kyle Rudolph down the sideline, setting him up for a 47-yard score, but Blair Walsh could not make the extra point.

Aaron Rodgers tried to connect with James Jones to restore the Packers' lead, but the wide receiver could not hold on to the ball, forcing Green Bay to send on Crosby again to tie up the scores.

Another Crosby field goal handed the Packers the lead, before Rodgers was sacked for a loss of 13 yards on their next possession, forcing the visitors to punt, giving the Vikings the ball in a strong field position.

Bridgewater was also sacked though, allowing Green Bay to get the ball back, leaving Rodgers to eventually pick out Randall Cobb for the Packers' opening touchdown of the game after several penalty flags against the home side.
