Jay Cutler admits that he is playing through the pain after returning from a hamstring injury for the Chicago Bears last week.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has revealed that he is still battling the effects of a hamstring injury.

Cutler was forced to sit out two weeks after suffering the injury in September, and he returned to the side last week to guide them to a 22-20 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

It was initially feared that the 32-year-old would miss up to five weeks when he picked up the problem, and he admits that he is playing through pain.

"I feel better, I do," Cutler told reporters. "I'm still not exactly where I want to be, but it is what it is, and we have a lot of guys banged up out here. I'll just make do."

Last week's win over Oakland was a first of the season for the Bears, who meet the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
